The SCHMOLZ + BICKENBACH CASTING GROUP is the market and quality leader in the field of special steel castings in Europe.

It is also a co-subsidiary of SCHMOLZ + BICKENBACH AG, the largest producer worldwide of tooling materials and stainless-steel long products.

The CASTING GROUP is specialist for following castings method:  hand and machine-mould castings, CONTURA^® (ceramics), investment casting and centrifugal casting. Individual work pieces weighing between 30 grams and 20 tons. Core competences include consulting, improvement, know-how in materials (400 alloys), cutting-edge casting technology and flexibility in vertical integration.

The SCHMOLZ + BICKENBACH CASTING GROUP generated 108 million euro in revenue in 2009 and employs about 600 people at production sites in Germany - Krefeld, Ennepetal and Kohlscheid. Its clients come from fields as diverse as energy, mechanical engineering, steel and rolling mills, pumps and accessories, automotive engineering and the art.
