Heat Treatment

The heat treatment of steel casting is a procedural step to control material properties. When it comes to defining process parameters like heat-up and cooling rates, thermal cycle and critical ranges, the material and wall thickness of a cast part are of decisive importance.

The GUSS GROUP applies the entire range of heat treatments: from reduced hydrogen annealing solution heat treatments and annealing at furnace temperatures up to 1,250 degrees Centigrade are realised.
